Hempelmann, a Chamois businessman and long-time advocate of both a ferry and a bridge for the Chamois area. THANK YOU! In order to help with the matching funding and startup costs, the Chamois Industrial Development Corporation (the non-for-profit organization that is spearheading this project) is asking for donations. All $500.00 donations from sponsors will be given an advertisement on this page similar to the size you see on the left and a plaque or area of approximately 12 x 6 inches with your name or business. Plaques will be placed on a sponsorship board on the ferry/barge throughout three years from the opening day. Larger donations over $5,000.00 and above please. Also those donating $25.00-$499.00 will be listed on this web site. Disclaimer: The above offer is contingent to the ferry becoming funded and becoming a service. I understand that by making a donation, no ownership in the ferry boat or project is granted to me. Sizes of the plaques may vary slightly and will be made of a material that will withstand the outside elements.
